We prefer pdf files, compiled as multi-page sets of documents. The most accurate returns result from the fewest files uploaded. If you do have to upload individual files, try and name the files as the form type (W2, 1099R, Prop Tax, etc.)

You can also mail your tax documents to us (copies please - do not mail originals).

We typically prep between 300 and 400 returns per year, and we are growing! We like to get our tax returns prep going in January, and we work solid through the end of April. Extensions are worked immediately if possible, though some clients do like to wait until mid-summer or fall to file. With extensions - We do like to know if a client will have a potential balance due on April 15th, even with a filing extension. This is so late payment penalties can be avoided. If we don’t have a good handle on the situation, and the client waits and files in the fall, and never paid estimated tax payments or extension payments, the penalties could be high.
